Summary

In 2016, the Provincial Government hired Peter Milburn to perform a forensic audit of the Vancouver School Board. The Children, Youth and Families Advisory Committee took a position on multiple recommendations in the report. We do not support some of the recommendations in the report including the ones related to the disposal of public lands, restructuring the VSB Committee structure which would allow for less involvement from the public and the role of Trustees solely as stewards of the system instead of advocates.
